I have had requests to run a Portrait Painting workshop for newbies…. so here it is. Get the low-down on how to approach painting the human face. It can be a challenge but I will ‘debunk’ all the mystery and give you the tools and confidence to create a beautiful painting of the human face.

….AND if drawing terrifies you I will have my handy DIGITAL projector for tracing your chosen face onto your canvas before we begin,

• Where: Duthy Street Art, Unley

• Times: 11:00-4:00pm

• Level: Beginners to Experienced Painters welcome

• Medium: Oil Paint

• Fee: $160 (or $200 if you wish to use my art supplies - to try oil paint before buying your own)

What to bring on the day;

Duthy Street Art Supplies store will be open during the workshop if you wish to purchase any products

• Good quality Reference picture

• Canvas (size is up to you).

• Oil Paint

• Odourless Medium and Odourless Solvent

• Please have your canvas covered with a layer of Gesso prior to class

• Palette knives

• Painting Palette

• Various sized brushes (you may wish to use here and there)

• 2 Jars with lids

• Rags and paper towels

• Baby wipes

• Plastic bag (for your used paper towels and rags)

• APRON

• iPad or similar
