Liana Vargas is an oil painter and tutor based in Hahndorf, South Australia. After a 25-year career as a professional dancer, she studied visual art at the Adelaide Central School of Art.
The emotional connection central to her performance career continues to inform her portrait practice, which explores warmth, authenticity, and human connection.
