Eco Art Retreat, Spain October 2025 - Completed
Prior to meeting up with Chris at our fabulous ECO RETREAT we have 6 nights in regal Madrid. While here we will visit the PRADO art gallery which boasts having one of the world’s most revered collections.
During this week we will take a day trip to stunning Toledo in search of paintings by an artist who was way ahead of his time, El Greco.
After our 7 night stay at the ECO RETREAT we will complete our journey with 6 nights in Barcelona to visit more art galleries and be amazed by Gaudi’s architecture.
During this time we will take a day trip to Salvador Dali’s Surrealist Theatre in Figueras and visit his home in Cadaqués.
Art Adventure 2023 - Completed
September 18 to October 15
Barcelona, Paris, Rome, Florence, Venice with day trips to Giverny, Amalfi, Pompeii, Bagnoregio and Orvieto
5 Weeks of Art, Culture and Wonder. My longest Art Adventure with students to date.
An incredible experience visiting so many wonderful places, including a very special private viewing of the Artemisia Gentilesque Painting by its restorer in Florence.
A visit to Barcelona based artist Chris Aerfeldts Art Studio and so many other highlights including staying at Anna FENDI’s Boutique Hotel in Rome.
Queenstown Art Adventure 2022 - Completed
We stayed at the fabulous Hulbert House in Queenstown and were spoilt rotten.
We visited Milford Sounds and Arrow Town
We also did a bit of drawing, much eating and drinking and discovering.
