A DAY AT THE CEDARS
South Australia’s newest Art Gallery opens in July 2026 and in celebration of this monumental occasion I’m offering art enthusiasts A DAY AT THE CEDARS. Over the 5 hours we will be given a guided tour of Hans Heysen’s House, Studio and the NEW (fire resistant) ART GALLERY. Following this is an indoor 1.5 hour Sketching Workshop where we will explore in depth the wonders of our Australian Gum Tree. Lastly we will enjoy a 10 piece High Tea at the Cedars Kitchen - a prize. an award for all our artistic, historic and cultural endeavours of the day.

Conte’ / Charcoal Drawing Workshop
Explore Hans Heysen’s treasured Gum Trees through thick Charcoal or/and Conte’ and careful observation in my 1.5 hour Workshop
All materials are supplied (includes High Grade coloured and white papers, conte’ and charcoal sticks, eraser putty, tapes and backing boards.
Offered Indoor / Outdoor Expressive depending on weather conditions
High Tea at The Cedars Kitchen
10 piece high tea (sweet and savoury), served with our specialty Heysen tea and coffee.
Guided Tour of House, Studios (includes access to the NEW GALLERY)
