A Multi Media Workshop with High Gloss Mirror Finish

Acrylic lovers join me for this layered workshop inspired by New York Based artist Debbie Taylor-Kerman.

“I don't want to tell the whole story. Creating a dynamic composition for initial impact is key to capturing viewers’ attention, by first making them stop and look, then enticing them to stay and discover the subtlety within the paintings. Just like life, there is more to us than what initially meets the eye. My art conveys how our diversity is what makes us beautiful, that we are all connected regardless of our differences, and that we need to spend time discovering the ‘whole picture’… Debbie Taylor-Kerman

Oil Painters and Acrylic Painters with any level of experience are welcome.

• Where: Duthy Street Art Supplies, Parkside

• Times: 11:00 to 3:30pm

• Level: Beginners to Experienced Painters welcome

• Medium: Acrylic Paint

WHAT TO BRING ON THE DAY

• A sense of fun and willingness to ‘let go’ :)

• WOOD PANEL Canvas - any size, just not TOOOOOOO BIG

• Materials, papers to glue to painting. Glue suppliedA photocopied images you would like to work from. A few options would be great

• You will need basic primary colour at least: Red Yellow Blue, Black and White

• White Gesso

• Palette knives various sizes

• Painting Palette

• Various sized brushes

• 2 Jars with lids

• Rags and paper towels, Baby wipes

• Plastic bag (for your used paper towels and rags)

• APRON

• iPad or similar
