In celebration of the fabulous Dangerously Modern exhibition, currently showing at the Art Gallery of South Australia, I am offering painters with some experience an opportunity to create a ‘study’ of their favourite portrait or still life painting from the collection.

Designed for Oil Painters with some experience. Workshop is limited to 6 participants.

Workshop Participants are encouraged work on their paintings between the scheduled workshop days.

DETAILS

• When: Sunday 13 & 27 July

• Where: Duthy Street Art Supplies, Parkside

• Times: 11:00 to 4:00pm

• Level: Experienced Painters

• Medium: Oil Paint

WHAT TO BRING ON THE DAY

• A photocopied image of the painting you wish to create a study of

• Canvas approximately 40x35cm

• Odourless Medium and Odourless Solvent

• Please have your canvas covered with a layer of Gesso prior to class

• Palette knives various sizes

• Painting Palette

• Various sized brushes (you may wish to use here and there)

• 2 Jars with lids

• Rags and paper towels

• Baby wipes

• Plastic bag (for your used paper towels and rags)

• APRON

• iPad or similar
