2012 - off with a very loud bang!

Oh dear times have changed for Art 4 Kids again - due to changes in my University schedule;

New times are Saturday 10 - 12, Wednesday 3.45 - 5.45 and Tuesday 3.45 - 5.45.

I will be doing up a programme for the next school holidays soon - enquiries are already coming in!

On a personal note I have moved into my Studio at Adelaide Central for the next year (this is studio for University work - not kids art class). This year promises to be quite enlightening. Very exciting.

Aldgate Art 4 kids 2012

So we have started back and there is no lack of renewed enthusiasm !!! Times have changed for this year 1 - 3pm on a Saturday now...

Above is a still life set up by a couple of my students (who I think created a beautiful 'still life') and they have drawn up and prepared their boards - serious paintings this term.

Other students have taken on some masterworks to conquer; Valezquez, Goya, Manet... hmmm gridding up can be a pain... but these little ones are jumping straight in.

If you happen to be heading towards Jetty Road, Brighton (SA) pop into the Adelaide Stained Glass Studio as I have nine (9) pieces of work (studies) hanging there. Art 4 Kids - The first sessions

The kids who have attended so far are a delightful group of little individuals - happy faces, enthusiasm, originality - and well just smiles everywhere! Everyone works so hard in these classes, the dedication to their art work is inspiring. The little darlings - well I just love 'em!

Heysen Festival 2011

Heysen Festival 2011 - in Mt Barker's Cafe's

So much fun painting in the street and cafe's of Mt Barker! Painted up 3 potentially sweet paintings...1.5 hours pretty much per painting. Talk about pressure. Met some lovely people and thank you to the little girls who helped me pick up my knocked over brushes and water jars!
